public class SendDiagnosticStage
extends TargetFullFeatureStage

A stage for processing SEND DIAGNOSTIC SCSI commands.

Only support for the default self-test feature, as required by SPC-3, is implemented. Request for other types of self-test operations will be declined.

Description copied from class: TargetStage

Starts the stage. This method contains the operational logic required for the receiving, processing and sending of PDUs which is needed to successfully complete the represented iSCSI stage.

Parameters:

pdu - the first ProtocolDataUnit to be processed in the stage

Throws:

IOException - if the connection was closed unexpectedly

InterruptedException

InternetSCSIException - if a PDU has violated the iSCSI standard

DigestException - if a digest error was detected

SettingsException - if the program has attempted to access a value from settings which has not been negotiated and which does not have a default value
